Federation Got Talent 9th April 2025

On Wednesday 9th April 2025 we had the second Lighthouse Federation Talent Show.

The evening was  jam packed with 24 amazing including dancers, singers, pianists, gymnasts and comedians.

Each school has held their own auditions and talent show in school to either the children, parents and carers or both and the top 2 or 3 acts were voted for to go through to the Lighthouse Got Talent Finals.

On the evening there was a judging panel including  ‘Mr Hicken, Mrs Hunt and Mrs Austin’ who  scored each act out of ten and then the three scores were added together to present the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies.

It was a truly spectacular night with so much talent from all of the 9 Federation schools. 

The winner was Isla from Lindens singing Quiet from Matilda

2nd place was Albert from St James dancing to Salute by Little Mix

3rd place was Lucy from Beacon dancing to The Pink Panther

Congratulations to the winners and all the children who took part in the Talent show. 

Talent Show 2024-25

Federation Art Gallery 25th February to 27th February 2025

This year, for the Lighthouse Federation art exhibition the children have created artwork around the theme 'World book day'.

Children's work from 8 of the Federation schools was selected to be displayed in Walsall Art Gallery for a 3 day event where schools and families could visit to see the artwork displayed on

Tuesday 25th February 10am-5pm

Wednesday 26th February 10am- 5pm

Thursday 27th February 10am-12pm

Art Gallery 2024-25

Federation Choir 29th Jan 2025

On Wednesday 29th January children from the Lighthouse Federation performed in the choir concert at Bescot Stadium.

Each school performed one song on stage and then performed two songs jointly with 2 other schools. To finish the concert all 9 schools sang a finale song.

Music Concert 2024-25

Federation Quiz 13th November 2024

On Wednesday 13th November 2024 we held the third Lighthouse Federation quiz at Bescot Stadium. Pupils in Year 3- Year 6 competed against each other in PE, DT and RE question rounds. Pupils in the DT round also had the challenge to build a bridge to hold two cars.

The event was a great success with over 72 children participating, 100 staff attending and 200+ parents and family members.

Beacon Primary School won the quiz this year! Congratulations!!
